[Preview 12.7.11: New Stuff from All of Them Witches, Occult Modem Settings and a Record from the Future!]

All of Them Witches (photo from IthacaUnderground.blogspot.com)

Tonight on the Upstate Soundscape we’ll hear a new track from Buffalo math-rock duo All of Them Witches and Rochester drone-pop, shoegaze act Occult Modem Settings.

We also have a pile of new stuff from two German labels Pan and Dekorder to get to, along with a very special treat brought to us (supposedly) by the future!

That’s right, a record that was discovered in an elevator in Manhattan in 1969 is believed by many to in fact be a message from the future. We’ll hear an excerpt from the bizarre 24-minute recording on tonight’s show.

Found on the Elevator 205 W. 57 1969 Private Press 10"

Plenty of other good stuff on tap for tonight so make sure to tune in at 10pm to 91.3 FM WBNY. Stream at WBNY.org.
